No. I'm not.

I don't think the race of the jury impacted the verdict.

I don't think it did either. However, if it was an all black jury and he was found guilty, I think the race of the jury would've impacted the verdict. If the jury thinks like Marvin anyway. Maybe they would've used GZ as some kind of scapegoat for all the past racial wrongs of the world instead of looking at the facts. It's pretty obvious to me that there's an awful lot of black people that are ignoring the facts of this case and anything but a guilty verdict is unacceptable.

Florida's self defense laws, as ridiculous as they are, and the lack of evidence as to what really happened tell me that no matter who was on that jury, he would have walked anyway.

Dont mix SYG and self defense every state has a self defense right only few of the states have SYG laws.

Because the OJ case isn't an all black jury. You had 8 blacks, and 4 non blacks. It's the only case white people refer to because it's the only time you had a jury with more blacks in it in a high profile case. I'd almost wager it't the reason why you can't name a single other case where that has happen.

Why are you so obsessed with the racial make up of a jury, rather than the facts of the case? You keep bringing up previous cases, conveniently omitting the ones you want to, to prove that black people have been wronged in the past. What does that have to do with the GZ trial, the trial that we are talking about.

Do you honestly think that an all black jury would have found GZ guilty based on the evidence? You yourself have agreed that the case wasn't proven beyond a reasonable doubt, so why are you now looking for the boogeyman? Why is the racial makeup of the jury a factor in a case where you have admitted that there wasn't enough evidence to convict in the first place?

It's possible. But I would like to give some people the benefit of the doubt and hope they'd take the instructions seriously and take into account the evidence (or lack thereof) that the prosecution provided. They didn't prove that GZ was a racist and that's why TM is dead. I'd like to think an all black jury would come to the same conclusion this current jury did.

You appear racist. You implied that Canadian women had discovered your lies about your wife ( avatar photo), when that was now the case. And anyone who proves you wrong must be a Canadian. Well guess what I am not. And Vermont is far worse than Canada IMOA.

Good point. Canadian women can barely tie their shoes. I doubt they could figure out Gary's lame attempt at lieing about his wife.

I guess the bottom line here as that you wanted a black jury in this case because you know that they would've considered a bunch of racist factors not related to the case. They would've used all the racist wrongs that have happened to them in past to to reach the verdict rather than the facts of the case.

Maybe I'm wrong, so tell me why you would want an all black jury in the TM/GZ case.

Teddy and Karee,

Here's what I want you to consider. People see things differently. This is fact. I didn't want an all black jury, I commented that it's a shame that not one black person would be sitting on the jury. It's like I said over and over again, if the roles were reversed, they wouldn't have a panel of black people to jury this case. And here's my point:

You just said we are ignoring the facts to convict him. Tell me something. In the Marissa Alexander case, when the woman shot in the air to get her husband out of the house, the biggest factor that got her convicted is she went to the car to retrieve the gun, versus grabbing the kids and leaving the house, her own house. Going to get the gun from the car shows intent. But in this case? Leaving the car with a gun to chase a person down is completely legal and shows no intent at all. How does that make sense?

SYG is a self defense law. And many states have some form of it.

In Florida, self defense claims TRIPLED in the years following the enactment of SYG.

Do you think that's a coincidence?

I would have thought that as well prior to the end of this trial. But seeing how people have thrown all rational thought out the window because of this verdict makes me think otherwise now.

What a load of nonsense . People in Scotland use"scot free" all the time. You have been surrounding yourself with people whose first language is not English for too long!

I don't remember any Canadian females googling your fake Italian wife btw. That whole episode proved you a liar IMO.

Did you reply to my questions about abortions and unprotected sex ( which you boasted about) ? No.

Don't encourage him. He is lonely. Even his made-up wife doesn't speak to him any more.

Canadian women can barely tie their shoes because they're always taking them off to help count to two.

The loudest voices aren't always yelling the most rational things. Especially when those voices are on the outside looking in. Who knows what would have been different had they been inside that courtroom.

I doubt most people who are outraged even watched the trial on a day to day basis.

They probably knew only what the media told them and then the verdict.

Well you're talking apples and oranges here. But since you brought it up, I think that woman was screwed and treated unfairly. That however has nothing to do with the TM/GZ case.
