You're so stuck on the racism card with this case you refuse to see how the system works and how it is set up to prevent such a thing from happening. There is a pool of jurors sent to the courthouse every day to be chosen as needed for the case load of that day. These people are average citizens chosen at random, mainly from voter registration lists in their state. Neither, race, sex, age, religion or any other factor plays into who is chosen for that days jury pool. From that pool every juror that is considered for a trial is interviewed by both the prosecution and the defense, in front of the presiding judge. Any juror that either side feels may be detrimental to the outcome of their case is dismissed from the jury pool until they have the amount of people needed to seat a jury. For this jury to have been rigged, not only would the prosecutors have to be in on it, but the judge as well. Is that what you're saying here Marvin, that the prosecutors and the presiding judge were in on rigging the jury in favor of GZ? You honestly think that would or could happen, especially in such a high profile case like this? Ridiculous.

I was seriously curious where the term "scot free" came from so I did a search...

'Scot' as a term for tax has been used since then in various forms - Church scot, Rome scot, Soul scot and so on. Whatever the tax, the phrase 'getting off scot free' simply refers to not paying one's taxes. No one likes paying tax and people have been getting off scot free since at least the 11th century.

So tell me Teddy, do you believe if the rolls were reversed, they would let an all black jury decide the fate of a black man who shot and killed a white teenager? Give me a break, you speak as if it never happens. Do I have to list the names of black people who were killed and their killers got off because an all white jury? I have posted this question a few times yet not a single person has responded, because it doesn't happen in this world or the next. Medgar Evans, Sean Bell, Oscar Grant, and countless others have been killed and the killers have been gotten off with no jail time or have served under 2 years jail time.
