Do you believe only gun can kill?

Just wondering since you have raised this thing few times on here.

Of course not. Sure does help though. The lazy man's way out some might say. And yes I have mentioned a few times.

I think I'm going more for the angle of guns empowering people to take risks they normally wouldn't. Like getting out of a car and following a stranger.

I see your point, but its like I .. I came home one night and my door was open. I grabbed my weapons and went in. Turns out I had left it cracked and the dog had nudged it open.

Still I doubt I would have gone in right away unarmed. Still my house and my right to go in. If you are in there in get shot your bad

The other guy who did not have gun was the one who jumped and punched GZ.

Maybe. Even if TM did, GZ staying in his car would have afforded nearly 100% security for Mr GZ. But then aww shucks, he wouldn't get to play Mr police man.

And I see your point. This situation isn't any thing like that.

Another option, as in one I would elect to use. Upon seeing your door cracked, you call the police and allow someone trained to do what they do for a living. I mean we do pay for them right? Why not use them?

On that we can agree. You don't forget you are carrying. I can also agree he might not have followed him had he not had it. Still does not change that what he did was not illegal and that as the judge said, none of that legally matters.

Agreed. I just don't like when a gun gives someone false confidence they wouldn't otherwise have and then put themselves in a stupid situation when they might not have done so if they hadn't been carrying.

I don't think that's what they're saying at all. You sure jumped to a weird conclusion.

Not at all. I just think the gun puts options on the table our society can live without. What's the old saying, don't take it out unless you're gonna use it?

Even in major metro cities now police are taking 10 over 10 mins to show up.

None of the dems talked about a case from houston where a 15 yrs boy and her little sister were home, and some ppl tried to break in, this kid picked up his dads AR 15 and shot the intruders, protecting his sister and himself.

what does lazy man's approach mean?

Good for him. That's what a gun should be used for.

Guns themselves aren't a problem.

How easy they are to get for people who shouldn't have them is the problem.

And no, I don't have an answer to the problem.

All GandD said was that it's an easy way to kill someone. Doesn't require much effort.

I don't know why you went to the "wake up with the intent to kill" thing.

Carrying a loaded gun saying that there no intent to inflict harm is like putting on a condom saying that there's no intent to **.
