How could he have done that if Zimmermann would have went on his marry way to Target?

Cause and effect

3000 people follow someone 5% end up in an altercation.

3000 don't follow someone 0% end up in an altercation.

Actual data may very...but second number stays the same.

You forgot the part about him pounding GZ's face and head. I guess you left that out on purpose though.

Just like you keep forgetting GZ never identified himself, never let his intentions be known, followed him for 4 minutes in car and then on foot. I guess those actions are ordinary.

Still it happened. And he was found not guilty. Get used to it. Trial is over.

None of those things are against the law. Beating someone is. Really Marvin you should find a new cause. This one's a loser.

Sad thing is we are already used to it. I said it a while ago he would walk. Because we don't matter as much.

Because we don't matter as much.

Give me a break. I can't believe you honestly think that. I sure hope you don't. If you do, you've been sucked into this bull$hit.

Yes because a kid was in fear for his life and lost it because the man who swore he was afraid he was going to die shot and killed him. I can't find a new cause Karee, because I'm black and I know that this could happen to me just as fast. But it can never happen to you, that's why you can't see it the way I do, or any other person of color can.

Yes, the trial is over. I am aware of that. The stupid law that foced the jury to find Zimmermann not guilty is still on the books. So it can happen again. And again. Time to change the stupid law.

My mother called me the night of the verdict on the verge of tears. I was in NYC at the rally with folks who felt the same way. I've posted tons of article where black men are killed and the folks that kill them get off or do so little time, it's a shame.

I'll ask you, do you really think we are treated as equal? When was the last time a white kid was killed for being suspicious? When was the last time a white man was shot in the back because the cop "thought" it was a taser? When white folks go on killing sprees, no one talks about killing them on here, we just debate gun control, or even better, say look at the black community first.

I've been profiled, a victim of police brutality, treated with disdain, not allowed some places because of my skin color. Why do you think I act the way I do? I can't act a fool and be taken seriously, since most folks don't want to be able to tell the difference.

Do you know what my mother said to me when I got back? Burn all of your hoodies at home. I told her I won't because I shouldn't have to.

I don't know how anyone can tell you that you're overreacting or shouldn't think the way you do unless they've walked in your shoes.

To deny that black people are treated as if they're inferior is to deny a reality that many face every day.

I literally know one black person in super white suburban Wisconsin. One. A friend of my husband's. And he's a successful business owner, treats others with respect, hasn't done anything wrong to anyone in his whole life.

And he still gets called the n-word by people he deals with in his business (he runs a food delivery service)

He's still yelled at when he walks down the street. For no reason. He isn't "looking suspicious". He dresses well. He speaks properly. It doesn't matter. His skin color is different and so he's treated poorly. Not by the majority, but it doesn't have to be the majority to make it a problem.

Why is the law stupid now, because the verdict was not guilty?

Florida's bizarre laws have been questioned long before this case.

That brings up a good question. Would it be racist to assume that a black man from your county dropped out of high school?

only if you point it out.

Majority drop out rates rampant teen pregnancy to unwed mothers, Blacks killing blacks daily, generation after generation in Govt housing and on benefits..

Yet oddly the TM shooting is the biggest crisis in their lives.

It's always been stupid. It was a solution in search of a problem all along. Hundreds of people are dead because of it. How many more have to die until we return to sanity?

You were positive he was going to prison due to the law and a jury who would clearly see things your way.
