Yeah, I'm surprised that minorities are using the outcome of this trial as some way to have a conversation about race. I don't see the connection myself. All I see is a bunch of people that WANT it to be about race, when in reality if you look at the facts race played no part in the incident. The closest thing I have seen is when GZ said THEY always get away with it. Now THEY means black for some reason.

I think it's time for a little introspection in the black community as to how far they really want to push this, because it's a losing battle. I don't care how many hours the media spends trying to make it about something it's not.

Yes, I do. Because I've said it before if the color was reversed and it was a white kid walking home and it was some black guy followed him, got into a confrontation and killed him, I don't care if it was 100% black neighborhood, they would never let 6 blacks determine the outcome.

I don't take it into my own hands, that's for sure. Not that TM was committing a crime, though.

He didn't even have to let him walk away. If he really wanted to become involved in the situation, he could have at the very least introduced himself. Explained who he was, ask TM if he needed help finding where he was going, etc.

I think something that simple could have gone a long way.
