Marvin, whether you want to believe it or not, race did not play a part in this verdict, whether or not it played a part in GZ's reactions that night we will probably never know. But the trial and the verdict were free of any racial wrongdoing. We don't live in a perfect world, but this time our system worked correctly.

If this was true, why weren't there any black jurors? If a white child was killed in an all black neighborhood, do you honestly think you'd have an all black jury with one asian?

The same folks that love guns, that are so paranoid the government is taking over, going to take the guns away, riots, etc, just looking for a reason to shoot someone, have afforded GZ so much leeway I have to remind myself he was following him in the first place. By their accounts, they would have just talked to GZ and not had the slightest amount of fear.

White people always bring up OJ, look at Sean Bell, Medger Evans and countless others who were murdered and their killers got off scott free. Is there even a comparison, cause I can't see it.

If I were anti-GZ, I wouldn't have said that there wasn't sufficient evidence to convict him. If I were anti-GZ, I would want him sitting in jail as an innocent man. Now, you came out and told me that's how I feel ... that I want innocent people in jail. That's a lie, but it doesn't stop you from saying it. According to you, thinking both GZ and TM were in the wrong that night makes me anti-GZ.

Prosecution had the same chance as the defense to select the jury, so you cannot say the jury was biased based on the race.

Don't bother with the argument.

Two cuts on a head seems to equal a head bashed into the cement and redness on a bald head equals a massive attack. Oh, and a bloody nose.

So then shooting a teenager is acceptable. If the victim was a white honor roll student and the shooter was a black man in a hoody...I'm sure there would be a counter outrage.

But to me, it shouldn't matter. Killing is a killing.
