Marvin, whether you want to believe it or not, race did not play a part in this verdict, whether or not it played a part in GZ's reactions that night we will probably never know. But the trial and the verdict were free of any racial wrongdoing. We don't live in a perfect world, but this time our system worked correctly.

Unfortunately, that goes against the narrative. The civil rights people picked the wrong case to try and prove their point. Now when they didn't get the verdict they expected, it's just another example of how racist this country is for them. Personally, I think they way they keep carrying on about his case takes away from the real issues that need to be addressed. But common sense goes out the window when all people see is race and not facts.
