There was a guy who socked his manager at WalMart today. The going joke around town is that the manager will now be the target of a justice department investigation for following his employee around the store.

4 of 6 jurors on the record saying that the death of a person in the commission of a violent crime is justified and that this guy is neither a hero nor a saint should only puzzle those easily confused citizens of the dying planet **. Those jurors (and the rest of us) care little for the imaginary "civil rights" of a burglar who died in the middle of attacking someone.

NOTE: It sure is wise to keep those riots in California. Florida is quiet. Being "afraid to walk the street in a hoodie" is a good thing for a peaceful community!

I have no idea why this was in response to my comment.

Still it happened. And he was found not guilty. Get used to it. Trial is over. None of those things are against the law. Beating someone is. Really Marvin you should find a new cause. This one

Back to the jury issue, I'm still curious as to which statement Juror B37 made that caused the others to speak up.

Yeah, I read that. It doesn't really state what they actually disagree with, just that they don't feel that Juror B37 is representing their opinions.

Shortly after the woman's interview aired, four other jurors released a statement saying the opinions of Juror B37 "were her own, and not in any way representative" of all the jurors.

Not much detail. :(

I wish the other jurors were more specific as to which statement(s) they didn't agree with.

Early this morning when I got up to break fast, I saw a story on Yahoo that has been removed. Apparently this juror was going to write a book about the experience. I skimmed it, she got a book deal but due to online resistance it was pulled. I can't find the story though on Yahoo.
