We are VSC march filer, i can see that most of the cases (even april filer) are all being transferred to texas service center, while our case is not updated at all. I think we are being left at vermont center. Dont know what is going on... is anybody going thru the same situation?

I am March 11 filer and still at VSC. Most of March filers in front of me had been transfered or approved. If they do follow the order then they will look at my case sometime this week.

New Journey AOS:

My fiancee came to US on the 8th of March, 2014 under K-1 visa at Newark, NJ Airport for POE.

Applied Social Security Number on the 10 of March, 2014.

Married on the 13th of March, 2014.

Sent I-485, I-765, and I-131 on the 15th of March, 2014.

Received EAD on June 7, 2014.

Received Notice of Potential Interview Waiver on July 1, 2014 date 6/27

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Welcome notice was mailed on 04/01/2015.

Received Welcome Notice on 04/08/2015.

Card was mailed to me/picked up by USPS on 04/08/2015.

Received GC on 4/10/2015.

Prediction 04/08/2015

We are March 5 filer and never received a notice about a transfer either. I was getting worried also since I saw a lot of April filers being transferred and as to my suprise I received a text/email that our petition was approved July 12. I checked my case like every end of the month so that it wouldn't make me crazy thinking about my case and I just waited and kept myself busy doing other things spending time with friends & family, working and having fun. Hang in there. Keep yourself busy and try not to think about it. I know its hard but good things come to those who wait. :)

You can manually change the last 2 number of your case to see the status in front and after you. It looks like the next number will be me for March if they follow the order but they dont do order in my opinion. There are also some Jan-Feb and RFE that are still at VSC.

Yeah unfortunately there seems to be no predictable order what so ever. But at least we are seeing VSC March approvals trickle in.

And congrats Jayann!:)

*** Thread moved from K-1 Process forum to the Case Progress subforum. ***

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Guys, I wouldn't worry if I were you. I saw some March and April filers getting NOA2 without being transferred to Texas. While those transferred to Texas might have gotten a NOA2 many are stuck at the NVC stage, perhaps it goes faster for you.

Keep your hopes up and don't forget to pray :) Good luck!

I would guess you didn't get transferred because someone either has already been working on your file, or you're one of the few batches that have already been assigned an IO when was the last time your file was touched?
