I am self aware enough to say that if 2nd degree murder came back I would have been floored and you are probably right about how I would summarize it.

I would not have agreed with them on manslaughter but i would have understood how they got there.

I still think both charges were way over the top and that could have gotten something way less if they pressure to over charge had not been there

However it would be overturned with no problem.2nd degree

2nd degree imo is over the top. I just keep hearing "justice was served" ####### coming from the GZ crowd in an attempt to show their allegiance to the American Justice system. But this allegiance is only as good as the ruling is what they want.

I am please justice was served and the idea that we do not need to tolerate having our head smashed on the sidewalk has been upheld. I have no need to make comments about 17 year olds taking walks at 7pm...or 1am for that matter.

When Pasha was 17 he often went running (jogging, whatever you call it) at 1am after working at a drive in theatre. So did the other of my four sons. So what? He lived to be 19 by never attacking anyone. I don't know if he was ever followed, he probably doesn't either. If he was, he would run directly home. But then, he is a Math Major at the University of Houston, even though he is from a multi-lingual family in which three languages are spoken, like Dee Dee. And had to switch languages for his education in 8th grade. Poor kid. It is a wonder he can write cursive at all, let alone in Russian, Ukrainian and English.

Nope. The employment contract allowed for it to be terminated without cause. There's no basis for a suit.

You know if a black man had two cuts and a bloody nose from killing a white teen those two cuts would be nothing and the sidewalk as a weapon would be laughed at.

Any person who gets in a fight on sidewalk is as good as dead if one is packing.
