George made a statement on TV. That opened the door just enough to impeach him, and it also went to the State's theory of the case. However, the defense was not stupid enough to claim Zimmerman didn't have a racist bone in his body, nor did they claim he didn't have any trouble with the law, so evidence regarding that could not be brought up at trial.

Dude if you think TM was not racist..... you are watching msnbc, you are watching too much of Al and Jessie.

If you think GZ was racist, TM was equally racist.

If you saw the whole trial... there were ppl supporting GZ that he was not racist and when Dee Dee was questioned about TM calling creepy cracker she said thats how they talk.

Both are allegations .... nothing proven... if prosecution was so sure why was witness 9 not asked to take the stand.

Anyone can make allegations that does not prove anything.

There wasn't much of a case, IMHO . Even so I am curious as why there were no males on the jury. Is it because men tend to be more biased?

The Jury pool is picked at random from registered voters in district. sometimes from licensed drivers. They fill the jury box with potential

Jurors and then the lawyers for the prosecution and defense ask them questions. If the lawyer thinks somebody will be favorable to the

other side they make a peremptory challenge which means that person won't be on the jury. each side gets a certain number of those

then they can still challange for good cause like if the guy showed up to a trial like this wearing a kkk hood.

anyway the jury is not made up of people that are chosen, but people that have not been rejected by either side.

Yes, I get that part. I just find it odd there were no male members of the jury. I have never seen an all female jury before, that is all.
