I haven't gotten my NOA2 yet, but this is what I did:

Section 1 (Official Documents):

- I129F Cover Letter with itemization/explanation of everything included, check attached

- I129F

- G325A Biographic info for myself, with passport photo

- G325A Biographic info for my fiance, with passport photo

- Copy of passport (to establish citizenship for myself)

- Copy of divorce decree from previous marriage for myself

- Fiancee and Fiance Letters of Intent

Section 2 (Evidence of meeting within the last two years):

- Cover letter itemizing/explaining everything included

- Copies of boarding passes, receipts, and tickets for my trip to London (where my SO and I met for the first time)

- Copies of my SO's passport showing entry stamps for his visits here

- Copies of boarding passes, receipts, and tickets for his various trips here

- Photos of us together with dates and places written on the back

Section 3 (Evidence of ongoing relationship):

- Cover letter itemizing/explaining everything included

- Skype call logs

- Engagement announcement

- Random screen captures of Facebook messages

- Copy of receipt for engagement ring

- Copies of shipping labels for gifts going back and forth

I clipped each section separately with a binder clip (with cover letters on the top of each section) and put everything in a folder, in order.

I made copies of everything and did the same with the copies.

I've been told it's overkill for the UK, and like I said, I haven't gotten my NOA2 yet, but... it sure looks nice and organized and that can't hurt wink.png

I organized the petition in a binder with multiple sections that I labeled with what's in each section. Since my fiancé put one dollar too much on the check they sent it ALL back and told us to put the correct amount on the check.. And... All of our documents were taken out of the binder and just put on top of each other. Doesn't seem like they care for it

I used a 3 ring binder with plastic sheets. I created like some sort of book so it was pretty easy to go through my entire package. Looked neat! I did it with my k1 package and with my adjustment of status package

When I was gathering the info, I kept in in a folder with a check list on the front of file. When i sent off the package, i must have checked each form, each line about 5 times. I kissed the first page and said a prayer. I put it all in the envelope without the folder, without the clips. We did not get any RFE.

As far as I'm aware they dissemble it, scan it into the electronic system, and put it in it's own file. They will remove it from whatever you put it in, to assemble it in the standard format they use.

If you want to organize it so it's easier for yourself when getting everything together, more power to you. But as for them some simple paperclips and post-it notes or cover pages, indicating what is what are fine. :P

this is the way to go, and what we did. Putting in an a fancy, pretty binder isn't going to help, as they will just remove everything so it can be scanned in the system. I simply organized everything with paperclips, and used post it notes. I made a cover page outlining exactly what was in the packet and placed in on top of the entire packet. If you read this link, it is the instructions from USCIS on how to assemble the packet, it SPECIFICALLY says do NOT use binders or notebooks that cannot be easily disassembled http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextoid=ff053d146a7ee010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD

I put the papers in order using the VJ guide and then I paper clipped them together and put them in a priority envelope.

How did you prepare the packet? For example, did you put in a folder, binder, or what? Also, what order did you arrange the documents in? all docs including offical forms and proof of evidence docs. How did you separate or organizee everything that you send witht he application?

Adjudicators don't care on the presentation. They care about the content. Clip your papers together and make sure you've sent exactly what's required.
