IMO, no; such items have nothing to do with the relationship.

Why would you need them? I'd suggest sticking to the VJ guide. We did and were approved without issue. USCIS care that the relationship is genuine, that you've met within 2 years and that you provide them with the correct documentation to prove it. Unless the petitioner was living with you and both your names were on the leases or both names on the car payment bills and you were using it for proof of relationship - then no. Even then, if you were living together now out of the US, you'd be doing DCF, not K1.

DCF is only available in a few countries and theoretically, it is possible for the petitioner and beneficiary to be living together in the beneficiary's country and opt for the K1 process.

DCF is only available in a few countries (Seychelles isn't one of them) and theoretically, it is possible for the petitioner and beneficiary to be living together in the beneficiary's country and opt for the K1 process.

Why would they though given that DCF is cheaper, easier and the beneficiary can work right off the bat?

I'll surmise that a majority couples living together abroad would marry and pursue the spousal visa process. But not all couples living abroad who are married and pursuing a spousal visa would be able to DCF because DCF is only available in a few countries.
