I guess I don't understand why America should honor Trayvon Martin. Honor him for what? Trying to be a bad a$$ and getting himself killed because of it? Honor him for beating the hell out of someone because he was being followed? I'm not seeing any great accomplishments from Trayvon Maritn.

If he anything good comes out of his death, it should be a lesson that just because someone is following you, you shouldn't beat the hell out of them. If you do, it could cost you your life.

I'm not surprised that some of the most ardent supporters of GZ feel like they have 'won' something. They didn't. Not worth calling a win anyway. Certainly the defense failed miserably to provide proof of a beating of their client. The prosecution was pathetic and the fact is that the case was bad. No, I'm not saying that if someone is following you it should be ignored. Maybe call the cops. Maybe try to get away. I'm saying that you don't turn around and start beating on them.
