how long should we look leave it till we call nvc

Hey guys, just wondering how long after receiving our NOA 2 should we leave it till we start calling nvc to see if they have our case number? Is it best to wait til we receive our noa 2 hardcopy?

I waited just over a week after the NOA2 email and they gave me our case number. BUT everyone's case can be different, but there is no harm in trying Good luck

I waited a week for my NOA 2 hard copy and i called USCIS to find out when they sent my case out to NVC

Once i new that date gave it a few days to call NVC and find out if they recieved my case o r not

but i personally called everyday ! lol

I have waited two weeks and we haven't received our case #, NVC is saying that it can take up to 8, I hope I get it before 8 weeks... I would advice you to call them a week after your NOA2 was approved or wait until you received the NOA2 hard copy to call them!

Thank you for the info ,is it just our case number we have to ask them for? I'm still pinching myself that we are at this stage and can kiss goodbye to uscis

When I called I just asked if they'd received our file, they asked me for the receipt number (WAC/EAC#) and our names and dates of birth, and then they told me when they received our file, when they sent it to the embassy and gave me our LND#. They were really helpful in my experience.
