Hi All. I've emailed California Service center to asked them about my case status. RFE receicved as of 10/17/2013 and no word yet. Just want to get some update for a peace of mind and I got a reply below. Before this, I called the 1 800 number and the rep. told me to send an email and so I did. And I got this email below, I understood that they want me to call the 1 800 number again. Going back and forth. What do you guys understand from this email?? Should I reply to this email? Has anyone else tried to email your service center to get updates on your case? I think I am going crazy already. Thanks for the future inputs.

If representatives are unable to provide information regarding your case, they will create a service request for the appropriate USCIS office that has jurisdiction over your case to answer your questions and concerns. These referrals must be identified by “Referral ID’s” assigned by NCSC.

just call the main number again and ask to be transferred to a tier 2 rep.... it is basically an officer who takes care of your call... if they still cannot answer your concern, ask them for the service center email address where you can send your inquiry....

Dreaming about your medical exam, huh? Sounds fun! wink.png Congratulations on getting your interview date. What a great start to the new year.

let me tell you the medical isnt what you think, or at least it wasnt in vancouver. for one, which doctor doesnt ask as almost the first question, "when was your last period, or how bout how many times have you been pregnant" etc. I think it is just a formality as my VJ friend has said. they go over your illnesses if you have any, your meds you take, and then push on your belly and send you off to labs and chest xray. Do you have your Interview date yet?

Naples, in my case, may be different, I'm not sure!

I just spoke with someone who had their medical today, and they said it was thorough! But then again, I'm 33, this person is over 50, I think that may change things.

I also know of other people that went through Naples and they said exactly what you said, a formality.

I have my interview on January 14th; the medical in Naples is done the day BEFORE the actual interview, so it's like a 2-day affair.

I can't wait to get over this, we already have tickets booked to get back home so fingers crossed!!!
