Hi guys! I am just coming into this conversation late! First off, congrats to those of you who have completed your K1 journey - it must be an amazing feeling! My Thai fiance (we've been together 11 years) and I filed our original paperwork a couple months ago. We received our NOA2 on October 31, 2013 and are awaiting the next step!

Hi Chris welcome to the group! We have some things in common- my fiance and I have also been together 11 years, and our NOA2 was October 30...hope the rest of your journey goes smoothly. We are waiting for our case to arrive at the NVC.

Interviewed today, Nov 26 @ Philly, we reach there 1 hr earlier, sign in and the IO called us probably 30 min after we get there. First she was kind of moody, she asked us to swear and the she started to loom at our papers and she asked us for the birth certificates, marriage license and my passport (beneficiary).. The she checked everything and asked us for everything that we have that prove that is a bonafide marriage.. She asked us for utility bills and we didnt bring it :( she told us that she really needed it but we moved on, then she started to look at everything we put on her desk. When she were looking at the pictures we were telling her the story behind the picture, she started to smile.. (A great sign) then, she asked me all the questions in my form I 485, and that was all.. She told us the magic words "ok im going to approve your application" exact words.. And my wife hugged me and we cried a little, we thank her and we left..

She didnt asked us anything about our lives together or anything like that. It was awesome, super fast and a great ending to this long process..

Im still saiting for the email/text from the USCIS. Hopefully i will wake up to it..

I want to thank everybody thata helped me out here in this forum..

And congratulations to all of you guys..

Nadia
