After one month and 4 days (35 days) from NOA2 (CSC), I got a DoS case number and that the file has been sent to Hong Kong on November 8, 2013. I should be getting notice and Packet 3 soon. Good thing my fiance is coming for a visit in a week and a half, so we will see how soon I can get the interview scheduled. So happy, but anxious also...

Hello everyone! Just wanted to share our own good news that we have also received our NOA2's hard copy in the mail yesterday from CSC after 34 days since we received our NOA1. Best of regards to all!

Finally we got our I129-F approved last night. It took 76 days from our NOA1. We did not receive any RFE's. Happy to be moving forward, finally.

Don't worry, it took us 90 days until NOA2, and now we are waiting again, for the big shipment to NVC...

Thank you ... this waiting time is just getting to me. I miss him so much, I hope we get approved fast, not only that my fiance is from Korea ... not exactly a high fraud or risk country. I did see the thread about Same-Sex RFE and I put what State we will get married ... I was born and raised in California ... LA to be exact, so not to worry it's legal hahah.

I will definitely keep everyone posted about me and Mr. Choi's visa process.

I thought I would share my experience so far. Because our case went through CSC, it took 5 weeks for my case to get to NVC. This is the number I called to finally get my NVC case number:

(202) 485-7600, press 1 then 0 to skip all the recorded message. When the officer picks up the phone, they will ask for name and DOB of both the petitioner (USC) and beneficiary and also the USCIS number. Once they give you your NVC number, ask them when the files was sent to the embassy. Then read up on the following link:

You can use DHL to find out when your files were mailed and received at your embassy. That way, you can estimate when you will receive packet 3 and 4. I am waiting for mine now. Good luck on all your journeys!

I was about to give them a call this evening, but then today I got THREE (quite unexpected) status updates from USCIS:

1. The Post Office Returned the petition as undeliverable;
2. Your address was changed relating to the I-129F;
3. Last but not least, "Card/Document" Production - On November 15, 2013 we mailed the document to the address we have on file.

I just contacted our lawyer and I'm waiting to hear what he says.

I have read the other threads about "undeliverable NOA2s) here on VJ, and that it won't affect our progress, still, I'm kind of worried right now!

Email and text message received today for Interview date, Dec 17. Don't know the time until we receive the hard copy. Wondering about that since for the previous message, the one that was saying, that they have moved our case to be scheduled for an interview (NOA2???), we have not yet received a hard copy.

Getting closer and getting more nervous.
