Interviews have been about 5 months out once the embassy sets the date in Ghana. It used to be that they were 2-3 months out, but in the last couple of months it's been 5 or 6 months. This is what I've heard from K1 & K3 people--not sure if the CR1 is different.

Kkadd,

I am not sure of how the Ghana embassy priortizes things in terms of cr-1 visas and ds 230 paperwork once it has been completed at the NVC. My friend, who is a ghanaian, filed an 1-130 petition for her mom and her mother's case has been complete at the NVC since September and she is still waiting on the NVC to book her mother's appointment date.

I am not sure if your case has a higher priority since this would be for your significant other...

For K1 and K3 visas, we just booked our appointment yesterday and the next available appointment they have is in May 14, 20007! 6 months away..... I have heard in general that cr-1 visas take longer to book an appointment but then again that depends on the embassy.

For Ghana, I am not sure but maybe if u do a search under the cr-1 timelines and then look up others who have gone thru Ghana Embassy you will be able to get a better idea.

Best of Luck to you and your loved one...

March 8, 2010 N-400 priority filing date

April 21, 2010-biometrics apppointment
