Getting the Green Card once you're in the US

I've got my permanent residency, visa in my passport, all good. I entered the US four weeks ago and got a stamp in my passport that the officer said would do as the Green Card until the Green Card arrives.

My question is - when does it arrive? Do I have to do something to get it?

Thanks in advance.

Assuming you have paid the immigrant fee, usually within 30 - 60 days of PoE.

We POE'd on June 11th, and just got our green card today. I'd say six weeks is a fair estimate. The ELIS page stayed at "accepted" until four days before we got the actual green card. It changed to "optimized" on the 9th, and "closed" on the 11th. It goes pretty quick once it optimizes. Just be patient, you're almost there! content.gif

EDIT TO ADD: Just to be clear, we paid the fee a week and a half before POE. If you waited until after you were already in the USA to pay the immigration fee, it's likely it'll take a bit longer.
