Hi..

I've been going thru the guides but I haven't found some of the answers I need (or want, LOL)

ok, History: K1 and K2 arrived and we are married :-)

for AOS...

1) g325.... Do I complete for my wife and daughter ( 2 forms)

2) I 864 (support)... I submitted this with all support documentation (originals) to the Moscow embassy for the interview, as instructed... Do I need to complete this form again??? ( they kept all my original documents) Its not a problem to do another, its just a hassle to go thru.. I was so excited when they said we were approved, that I forgot about the documents...

3) I 765 (EAD), my wife received a SS#, so does she still need an EAD. ???

4) I 131 (AP), she has no immediate plans for travel, so how do we answer the question asking about travel plans.??

Thanks for the help.!!!!!

Yes you fill out the G-325A for both of them again.

2) I 864 (support)... I submitted this with all support documentation (originals) to the Moscow embassy for the interview, as instructed... Do I need to complete this form again??? If you had a K-1 and K-2 it was not a I-864, it was the I-134 that you gave to the Consulate in Moscow. Yes you need to fill out a I-864 with supporting documents.

3) I 765 (EAD), my wife received a SS#, so does she still need an EAD. ???

Even if your wife has a SS# she will need the EAD. If you look at the SSC it should "Not Authorized without DHS Approval" or something like that. The EAD is the DHS Approval.

4) I 131 (AP), she has no immediate plans for travel, so how do we answer the question asking about travel plans.??

You do not need to put anything as K-1 and K-2 are eligible for I-131 whether they have plans or not.

Thanks for the help.!!!!!

Hope that this helps.

1) The K-2 definitely needs their own I-485, but only needs the G-325A if they are 14+ years old.

2) Yes. This is a new process and you must provide everything required. You need an I-864 with supporting documentation.

3) You cannot work with an SSN alone You must have work authorization. The EAD is that authorization and is used while waiting for the green card. The EAD for the K-2 will allow the child to get an SSN.

4) In case something comes up while waiting on the green card, you should file for the AP too. Leave the dates empty as the new form does not allow for writing Unknown in the date and length any longer.
