USCIS Guangzhou Field Office to Move

The USCIS Guangzhou, China field office is moving to the new U.S. Consulate General facility in the Zhujiang New Town area of Guangzhou. The last day that USCIS services will be provided at our Tian Yu Garden facility will be July 12. Beginning July 29, all USCIS services will be provided at our new location:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

U.S. Consulate General

Entrance at Huaxia Road near Zhujiang New Town Metro Station Exit B1

Tianhe District

Guangzhou, China

The entire consulate is moving, and will be closed from July 15 to July 22. The various units - USCIS, IV, NIV, Adoptions, and ACS - have made separate announcements about when they will re-open at the new location, ranging from July 22 to July 29.

bigdog ! Good on ya for finding the USCIS Guangzhou notice.

Most folk are interested (instead) about the IV Unit move - the USCIS move only affects folk filing for DCF'd casefiles.

We've been chasing this for almost 3 weeks - please review the link Randy provided.

I think it's great the Shamian Island facility is to be abandoned, all all US Consulate offices consolidated into one huge compound. Can you imagine? No more of this silly 'postal address different' between Tian He and Shamian Island locations.
