Police in Florida warn against riots in wake of verdict

It was very apparent he fathered children from up to 24 different women, many of them still teenagers. I do see that the legal age of consent at the time was 14, so perhaps he didn't break the law on that - I stand corrected.

Still it's hard for me to be able to sympathize on the side of a 34 year old leader who had regular sex with 14 year olds in the name of religion. All I can feel is disgust over that before I can even begin to even try and justify against any badly executed attempts to arrest the man. If you and others can, so be it.

You probably should save your horror and outrage for the laws in the Philippines.

Just sayin' they don't all deserve to be systematically attacked and burned to death over their views of age of consent either

i don't get it.

Funny. Nature Boy is saying Koresh did nothing wrong, not like Kokesh, and Gary is saying the opposite.

Was the three year difference in age thing in effect back when? Sex with a minor where you are more that three years the senior is statutory rape, even if past the age of consent for that minor?

What Gary and I did not agree on something.. Well by god let me change my opinion..

P>S> sometimes that happens people think for themselves instead of digesting talking points and regurgitating them.

What letter can we assign to the "opinion" that anybody who disagrees with them simply isn't thinking for themselves?

Laws they were breaking:

Koresh: possession of illegal firearms

Kokesh: open carry of a weapon and drug possession

Raids on their property for above suspected illegal activity:

Koresh: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waco_siege#Equipment_and_manpower

Kokesh: http://reason.com/blog/2013/07/10/swat-team-raids-home-of-libertarian-acti

Issues with gun laws:

Koresh: Posessions of firearms that were illegal for civilians to posess included automatic firearms and grenades.

Kokesh: Open carry of a weapon in DC and gun possession felony.

Extremism, hotheadedness, fanaticism, self appointed leader of a movement, etc.

Koresh: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Branch_Davidians

Kokesh: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Kokesh#Protest_activities

Pretty sure none of the ATF allegations against him were ever proved. He stockpiled a lot of weapons because he thought the government was going to attack them one day. What a gun nutter thinking a thing like that.

Do you know who DK called when the ATF stormed his compound... The local law enforcement .. Odd that right ?

Right, of course. You're the only rational one here. The rest of us are libtards and extremists.

I didn't say you said that. Pay closer attention.

Rather than copying and pasting responses, you should take the time to read what you're responding to first.

Then it might make more sense and people wouldn't laugh at you.

Nature Boy? Wouldn't you rather label a legal voter a ** or far right extremist?

I ask, cause the lass in question cannot vote in the USA - I think it's specious to label her anything more than a 'legal resident alien' in the usa.

Maybe once she obtains citizenship and actually becomes a registered voter - ya, maybe, then she'll pick a vein that appeals to her and then wear her label, proudly.

Prior to that? It's just not fair to use such a label on that lass - I suggest not to do it any more. She doesn't have 'the right' to wear such a label, as of yet.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Dude being technically ineligible to vote (as a felon) doesn't stop Rush from telling us how WE should vote.

Ya, there's that - but I wouldn't want to compare Mr. Limbaugh to the owner of the Penny Lane account, ever. Disengenuous, IMO.

Look at Jesus. Heck they crucified him

Do you really think I care if someone laughs at me. Heck half the time my goal is humor.

Rubbish. You don't have to have the right to vote to be clueless.

Back in court now...Jury has a question.

Stay tuned...

They want to know if they can impose a harsher sentence.
