Question Regarding Packet 4 from Manila Embassy

Jinky and I were under the impression that she would receive her packet 4 after about a month from the time the consulate received our visa application.

I just looked at a few timelines and notice that most of them received the packet 4 very close to the interview date. Does this mean we will just get a letter instead that gives us enough time to plan for the interview date?

I figure it about like this - after receipt at the Embassy, 1 month to get the letter (if any) from the Embassy, 2 months to get the packet with forms, and 3 to 4 months to interview.

If you have an interview / medical appointment already and you want to have a K packet and early medical just call SLEC .

The fastest way to get your K-Packet is thru St. Lukes. No need to call the US Embassy, call directly this number and ask if your K-Packet are already with them 5246083.

The letter does not give you the interview date. It only confirms that the Embassy has received your case. Packet 4 will have the medical and interview dates as well as forms required. It took about 3 weeks for us to get the letter after embassy receipt. But we didn't have all the holidays and a typhoon between receipt and the letter. Patience. Ken & Maria

Hi guys you wont believe this but my fiancee recieved her packet 4, 4 days after he interview lol..so if i was u id either get it from st lukes or just download the form from the embassy website or u wont be ready if what happens to u is the thing that happened to my fiancee..i had a laywer do the petition and he filled out all the packet 4 forms and sent them to me and i sent them to her so she already had them..thank God for that or she wouldnt have been prepared when he med and interview came.

We're not waiting for the packet either. I collected all the info on my last visit and will do the forms early and send them to her for signatures.
