The photo. For all the talk we've done in these threads, for all the insults we've thrown at each other for having different opinions ... at the end of the day, this is someone's kid. Left laying in the grass, alone. Just sad.

I wish some would see that it's just a teenager, just someones kid.

For many they see a future criminal an animal.

It bothered me so much I had to post it...it's tragic.

His blood accumulated in his lung cavity, until there was not enough blood for his damaged heart to pump anymore. I had a pneumothorax one time. That is when you have an air leak into your lung cavity, also known as a collapsed lung. It is not very pleasant. He would also have a difficult time breathing, let alone speaking.

yes just like the blood in zimmermans nose would have run into his sinuses while he was supine and therefore not been available to get all over Trayvons hands. there is no particular reason to expect to see blood on the hands.

This photo really should not have been published, and it shouldn't be on here. and I wont be posting on this thread anymore. bye

The picture is truth. Your theories however are not.

If the blood was getting into the back of Zimmerman's throat, he would be reflexively spitting blood. When people are choking on fluids, they tend to clear the airway, by coughing, or blowing through the nose.

I see both a tragic death and a kid. I also see a delinquent youth that was on a path to career of crime. The two do not have to exclude each other.

I can't tell you how many kids I worked with in my last job to get back on track. Took them to court, talked to the probation officer, spent hours counseling etc, bought food and clothing.

Still never did I try to excuse what they owed society or the harm they caused.

Very admirable work sir.

I was a live in youth counselor for convicted youth who were released to group homes. I did that for almost two years 3 1/2 days on and 3 1/2 off. Some kids did re-offend, but many also were able to be reached. Many lived horrible childhoods, yet remained positive. Their files which I had to read were very disturbing.

Most just wanted someone to pay attention to them.

TM had parents who were involved. TM wanted to pursue pilot school so he quit football. I believe he was in flux like all kids his age. But his parents seemed to be involved and that gave him a great advantage.

He could have easily outgrown the phase he was in and not continued on any path. Smoking weed is not what I'd call criminal behavior on it's own. To say that he wouldn't outgrow his current minor rebellion means you give the parents and his brother no influence at all. They seem like decent people who wanted the best for their kid. His life was cut short and it didn't have to be.

2-4"

You said 2" wasn't that far, so I asked if 4" was. I don't recall the details of the defense experts testimony. I just remember something about it being consistent if someone was on top of someone leaning over them. Are you thinking the shirt should have been further away from his body?

Isn't it possible he swallowed some of it?

How many knuckles can you see clearly in that photo? How about the left hand?

But he's right handed? If anything your greatest contact comes with the haymaker.

Personally I find the death of any youth sad. It's a life that never got to be lived. It doesn't matter if it was a car accident, suicide, health reasons, crime, etc. To me it is a person that never really got a chance to live life, whatever path they may have taken.

But this picture doesn't prove that GZ was guilty of 2nd degree murder.

Triggering his gag reflex? No evidence of that.

Consistent means possible. It means it could have happened that way. It doesn't mean it did, or was even likely.

Agreed.
