Bringing a sibling of US citizen

I tried to do some research, but I'm not getting the specific answers I'm looking for. I'm a US citizen and have filed for a petition to bring my brother from Nepal. I field the petition in 2008 and from the email records I've, I've what seems like two case numbers... one starts with NVC and the other starting with KDU... I went to NVC site and plugged in the NVC# and got a status saying the I-130 has been approved in 2008.

If I understand based on what i read, it seems like the priority date is only for 2001 right now... so, in the future when it gets to 2008, I'll be able to apply for Green Card for him? My address has changed since i did the initial filing, so should I change the address... but not sure, where to send the address change information. Also, will something be sent to me informing that it's time to file for the green card?

thanks in advance for any help.

I can see that you had filed petition for you parents before. If I am not wrong then the process is same for spouse/parents/siblings i.e. you get I130 approved from USCIS and case completed at NVC then interview. Only difference is the time period. It looks like your case has been approved from USCIS and now your case is at NVC. You must have got NOA2 from uscis when it was approved from USCIS. So have you started your NVC processing as you said you have a case no. that starts with KDU... ??

If your case is still at USCIS, you can change the address by going to USCIS.gov and filling AR-11 form online.

If your case is at NVC then you can just call NVC and let them know.

I used I-865 to change my address (though I-864 was never filed) when my case was with USCIS. They acknowledged my new address. Plan to use that again regardless where the petition is.

AR-11 is for LPRs, not USCs.

Sorry I don't mean to mislead. When you go to file AR-11 online, there is a option which says:

Yes this change of address is for US Citizen or

Yes this change of address is not for US Citizen.

So I thought that's same for USC too to change the address.

If my case is at NVC or Consular Office do I need to request for change of address to NVC and USCIS too??
