My husband had his interview at Cairo Embassy in Nov of 2012 ,the CO told him everything looks good and no more papers needed or required, took his passport and said it takes 2 weeks to 2 months of AP. in April we took his passort back and we traveled to see each other In Lebanon and they said it's fine if we take his passort and it doesnt affect our AP.and they told us whenever they finish AP they will let us know to send his passport back.

Now it's been almost 8 Months of AP!!..and Embassy is CLOSED, my question is CAN WE TRANSFER HIS FILE TO ANOTHER EMBASSY AND WICH ONE WOULD BE BEST??ANYBODY HAD DONE THAT?IS THERE ANY RISK BY DOING THAT?.ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA??..PLZ I NEED HELP

Its really really sad that all of these difficult issues are happening in Egypt and we have loved ones there suffering in this turmoil and we are stuck with no course of action to make sure our loved ones are safe. Thats the real crime of this process. I am sorry for your hardship m <3 r, and I wish you all the luck in the world. Do all applications through cairo go through this?
