IMO this case was over once the prosecution rested. They simply did not present enough evidence to convict GZ of a crime. Not guilty on all charges, except stupidity. Fortunately for GZ there is no sentence for stupidity.

I think he should walk. I am just not convinced at this point he will. That may be contrdicatry, but what I think it should be and what it turns out to be may be two different things.

So dramatic. You know he's gonna be found innocent. TM supporters are gonna cry injustice while touting a race obsessed society. The GZ gunnies are gonna gloat and talk about how its a win for gun owners protecting themselves from the inner city thugs. Meanwhile in another thread they'll go back to talking about how their rights are currently under attack in America. Yeah, we know.

You can't talk about anything on the news unless you put "the war on" in front of it. For a nation of "peace keepers" we sure are obsessed with war.

So true, if he's guilty, the usual suspects will swear it was racial pressure that led to his conviction and there will be all types of name calling. If he's pronounced innocent, those same folks will be on here saying it's a win for legal gun owners, that they're glad the "trash" was taken out, and more likely you'll have more incidents where "suspicious" black teens will be killed. Look at what happend to Jordan Davis.

Either way I won't celebrate. A kid was hunted like an animal and when he fought back he was killed. There is no justice in that.

I have only sat in a jury all the way to a verdict once, and it was a civil trial not a criminal one, but that experience makes me disinclined to believe that's true.

It's pathetic when the defense attorney goes through and summarizes the evidence piece by piece and the best the prosecution can do is curse and throw skittles in frustration
