If you applied for and were denied an extension, chances are you won't be allowed entry into the US any time soon. The record of your extension denial will be in the system as are all of your visits to the US. What type of visa are you traveling on? If you are newly married, you should apply for the CR1 marriage visa.

Also, in the future, you should start your own thread with your question, rather than tagging on someone elses. It tends to confuse things.

Thanks for your advise, I am on B1/B2...... Hopefully I will make inquiry with the boarder and custom by myself

Ask the Consulate.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

If you are a Canadian citizen, you can attempt to enter the US at anytime on B1/B2 status. There is no actual visa you need to apply for. But seeing you've spent a lot of time in the US already and have been denied an extension, I would guess it will be a while before you are allowed entry. A good rule of thumb is to spend as much time out of the US than you just spent in the US.

Good luck.

Right.

Good day,

I have been going to U.S Since over 2 years ago and I have my brother and my newly wedded wife in U.S

I just got married in U.S about 2 months ago and my wife is a U.S Citizen.

I live in Canada and was just denied an extension of U.S Visa in the consulate because I told the officer my wife is in U.S and just got married some months ago.

He denied me the visa and told me to go and apply for Spousal Visa or K3 Visa if I still want to get an extension.

However, I am planning to get a R1 and K3 Application as I don't have any other option than to file in the application.

This is my question

My U.S Visa is still valid till first week of December 2013. Can I still use it to go to the U.S from Canada and come back before it expire?

I don't want to take a break or vacation at work and later told that I am not able to go to U.S by the boarder services. I am not sure if the officer put any note on the system on my behalf that will make the boarder services deny my entry to the U.S

More also, the officer was aware that I still have a valid visa and do not cancel my visa that is still valid till December.

Please, advise if it is still good for me to go to the U.S and come back before the Visa expiring date

Thanks

He said we might be should separate...

Why was he upset?

You were not visiting him anyway.
