For LPR, i know that my mother can only petition for her unmarried children, can she also petition even if her unmarried children are over 21? The next question is, if she becomes a US citizen the waiting time will be shorter is that true? And the last question, since my mom just arrived and still has no work, can she still petition using my husband as sponsor, i don't have work either for now cause i am studying. But my husbands income is more than enough to qualify the poverty guidelines. I will appreciate all the answers and I really want to thank you all for the help.

1. Yes, she can petition for her unmarried children who are over 21. The waiting for this category (F2B) for Philippines is 10 years. and they can't get married during that time.

2. Normally when the petitioner becomes USC, the waiting time is shorter, but for Philippines the waiting time is longer for about 1.5 year.

3. If your husband's income is enough to sponsor your mom and her children, then he can be a co-sponsor.
