The pending update will be data as of November 30, as there's no 31st day in the month. Data is always ~45 days behind its post date. The processing date will probably be a disappointment but it may be interesting to see how the volumes at each center are changing, since they just started reporting I-130s in those locations very

every other month seems like a big jump prior to last month the last update jumped from october to feb so who knows maybe this month well get a five month jump lol

I love your wishful thinking :). I think it will be early March, and i think all centres will say the same. Its the processing times that should be key. It needs to go down to 7-7.5 months to show any real progress....

I think they also needed to quiet some people down, hence the jump.... but we will see. As we know, some are on April, some on July.... who the hell really knows!

If i look at the i130 (imm rel catagory) on this site...and only for CSC not national

http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=4&office=2&charttype=1

Does this not mean that they have hardly any to process, look at the trend line... I dont get it?

you know things are moving its just these gaps that make us all so ancy look so many july filers have been approved? But than some others havent even been transfered but the thing to keep in mind is that every one has a unique case. My cousin was married twice before so his i-130 took up to a year and his lawyer told him because of the multiple divorces your case will turn a few heads. With that said we dont know everyones specific life stories tax history, divorces, work and living situations these factors along with a number of other things can lead to extended waiting times for immigration and than it just comes down to this some people are just lucky and a afficient person picks up their case and than some peoples cases are left in a box that is apparantly some place in a box under a iglu in alaska (nbc) lol thats just my opinion and im frankly trying to be less ancy if its possible

Also, why can I also see i130 (Imm rel) processing times for other offices, such as my local one in Des Moines?... do they even do them? I thought they only got sent to CSC, TSC and NSC?

Prior to the current catastrophe, NBC was shipping petitions to local field offices for adjudication. They quietly started hoarding them at NBC about a year ago, presumably in anticipation of the new office in Overland Park opening. That didn't go as planned and so they came up with the current process of shipping to service centers. Some of those field offices are extremely slow, however, and still have I-130 backlogs they're working through.

True True, i guess we don't know everyone's situation. And that would be fine, but USCIS don't know the situation before they transfer do they? So again im not sure on their methods.

Anyway, i am still under 5 months, so I am not getting to annoyed. What i do get annoyed with is the uncertanty, the poor communication and those that are simply left out as they see others approved before them, which i thought was a total no no for USCIS.

I mean they have to know something right? Like its the first stage to see any imediate red flags? If you were married multiple times in anaother country and did a i-130 for multiple people i would think that would pop up or anything that can be publically recorded? Who knows how they do this in my opinion they should ask for taxes etc initially? Why wait till after your approved? Weird

USCIS is just a very bad agency, it would be ok if they were just honest..... what they are doing now, approving some filers quickly through one service centre (CSC) to make their figures look good, is just criminal!

Nope, field offices are no longer receiving new I-130 petitions. They may again in the future, but for now it's not in the game plan.

As for what happened to Overland Park, no one knows. One of the many unsolved USCIS mysteries. This is all we ever had to go on: "A new division, Adjudications Division 8, also will be located at the Overland Park, Kansas facility. NBC anticipates that Division 8 will begin to adjudicate stand-alone immediate relative Form I-130 petitions by the end of Fiscal Year 2013." A lot of us had our hopes hung on it at the beginning of October. At that point the backlog was not moving at all and USCIS hadn't yet announced they would be transferring petitions, so we all thought the new division was going to open the floodgates of approvals. That never happened, of course, and subsequently they announced that NBC would be transferring its petitions to the three service centers. There were some efforts to find out what happened to the mythical division 8 but nothing ever came of it. Since petitions filed at the end of this year are skipping NBC entirely, I think it's safe to say that they won't be coming into play any time soon.

So petitions filed now are going directly to CSC TSC etc... so they need to transfer the remaining petitions asap then really.

Also when is the date of the updates? I thought it was the 15th?
