Hi, we received that 4th email too.. Also the status text on the website for the I-130 petition changed slightly again, as the date disappeared. Same for you?

Initial Review

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. after the case got transferred, how long did it take for the hard copy to come in regular mail?

I am kind of curious as to where I got transferred because I did not get any email/ text notification. Only change I observed was online.

You are certainly free to watch any thread. Is the IR 2 for children?

On January 8, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Our receipt date was July 9, so that is just about 6 months exactly.

My husband is in Chile, and was planning to come here in about a month on a tourist visa (yes, while his application was still pending, because he hasn't seen me and the kids in 4 months).

Does anyone know how long post decision activity takes? The Chilean consulate is fairly efficient. If he does come on the tourist visa, can he just stay here and do the interview here?

Yes our application was transferred to CSC on December 10.

Wow congratulations hope for the best my PD is july 2 and I received a transfer notice to CSC on December 31. I hope to get mine soon

I don't know how long the next part of the process will take - there are a couple more steps. You'd probably be best to have him visit soon, if he can get a tourist visa, for a short time with a return ticket. You'd hate to have him denied at the border because they think he's going to stay before his immigration visa is approved.

And he does have to go back home for the medical and interview.

My Petition to lord USCIS

Hey lord USCIS,

1) What crime you see in a marriage between yr Son / Daughter and a citizen of another country?? I just got married to a person whom I loved and in whom I found my faith." What is my fault?

2) Why are you calling him an "ALLEAN", it hurts me a lot. Can you please change this. He/she is going to be yr son/daughter in law.

3) Its so freezing cold out here in US this season. I want the warmth of my hubby/wife.

Can your staff stay away from their hubby /wives for so long???

And this is after $420 that I paid. You never had to relay on any federal funds for this.

I guess because no one really knows, it's just guess work based on others experience, especially as USCIS seems to have zero methodology to their processing. From my. "guess work" it's taking between 6-8, however a few are 9, to get approved.
