My PD is July 29 and still no transfer.

My husband just sent sighed authorization form to his congressman.

I don't know how much it will help, but hope to receive the transfer notice soon like most of you here..

Have you received a 3rd transfer notice? My 2nd notice said a "local field office" but the 3rd transfer notification says it is being processed just at a USCIS office. Only the hard copy of the letter will tell you which service centre it's at. Edited by meehan

I don't find that to be true... I live in Florida and was sent to California.

That is a glitch in the system, they are not sending to local offices (all of the transfer notices say they are being sent to local offices) anymore. Only to service centers.

Ashalim12 is right, they used to transfer to local offices to help with the backlog so it seems they are using that "template" to notify us of transfers. I received the same notice that I was transferred to my local office, but ended up at the CSC per my hard copy notice. You will know for sure when you get your hard copy.

No I have not received any 3rd notice. Actually, I haven't even received the hard copy yet. I was only able to see the change online.

I am waiting for the actual letter to come so that I know where it got transferred. I hope we get approved soon!

Are you saying that it transfers to a local office and then to another service center? or does the local office finish processing?

Sorry for the confusion, the petition should transfer straight to a service center. The local office does not get involved.

The only reason it mentions the local office is probably because USCIS used to transfer petitions to local offices and they may be using outdated templates to notify us of transfers.
