I called USCIS on Friday, January 3, 2014 to inquire about my case status. The rep informed me that my case was transferred on 1/3/14. I received a hard copy on 1/6/14 stating that my case was transferred to NSC. I have yet to receive a text message or email.

7/11/13--Delivered to USCIS Chicago Lockbox @ 11:49 A.M.

7/11/13--NOA1

1/3/14---I-130 transferred to Nebraska Service Center (called USCIS @ 1:34 P.M. to receive update)

1/6/14---Received hardcopy of I-130 transfer notice

3/10/14--Received NOA2 via text message and email @ 2:30 P.M.

3/13/14--Case left USCIS via text message and email @ 8:15 A.M.

3/14/14--Received hardcopy of NOA2

at least you know it was not lost during transfer! I hope the recently transferred files to NSC don't make it to the stock room and go straight to the adjudication offices!

most of us waiting for approvals hate weekends. IOnce on Friday, I want Monday to come fast so that they get back to work on the petitions! isn't that crazy? we work all week and still can't even enjoy the weekend!!!!

Very true, 60 days is, I'm not disputing that. I'm just wondering if all transfer notices get 60 days? And if they miss that then what?

The notice just says to contact USCIS if no action has been taken in 60 days, not necessarily that they promise to do anything for you. I imagine it would be a pretty similar experience to people filing service requests, where a few get through and many are given the "currently processing Feb 13" standard response.

I was transferred to CSC and received the 60 day processing paper... The are covering their behinds on ALL transfers!

Got my 3rd transfer email.. Now to wait for the hard copy to arrive to find out where it went. Based on our NOA1 this could still be another week away. What are the chances we get our approval before the hard copy arrives? ;) can only hope...

psv57 - I got a scan of my hard-copy notice from my attorney. I've been transferred to the Texas Service Center. While I got my first email notice on December 27th, the official "notice" date on the hard-copy transfer is December 30th.

04/14/2014- emailed Nebraska and scopscata to see what's going on with file due to conflicting info I've gotten and NBC doesn't even show processing I485.
04/14/2014- Got response from scopscata saying will look into email, forward to resolution team.
04/14/2014- I485 updated to "485 was transferred and is now being processed at USCIS office"
04/25/2014- Text message and case update online "testing and interview" stage.
05/06/2014- Text message and case update online with interview date of June 11, 2014.
06/05/2014-Notice sent by NYC acting district director/office that interview date is Aug 21, 2014.....??????????? No change online
06/11/2014 - Interview for AOS. I130 was already attached. Approved and got passport stamped. YAY. Thank God.
06/19/2014 - Case updated online with text and email saying new card mailed.....

06/21/2014-Condtional GC received along with welcome letter.
