Post Decision Activity

On December 17, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

04/12/2014 - Received transfer notice in mail stating file transferred from Nebraska to NBC Lee Summit, Montana (so disappointed as I thought it was at local office now).
04/14/2014- emailed Nebraska and scopscata to see what's going on with file due to conflicting info I've gotten and NBC doesn't even show processing I485.
04/14/2014- Got response from scopscata saying will look into email, forward to resolution team.
04/14/2014- I485 updated to "485 was transferred and is now being processed at USCIS office"
04/25/2014- Text message and case update online "testing and interview" stage.
05/06/2014- Text message and case update online with interview date of June 11, 2014.
06/05/2014-Notice sent by NYC acting district director/office that interview date is Aug 21, 2014.....??????????? No change online
06/11/2014 - Interview for AOS. I130 was already attached. Approved and got passport stamped. YAY. Thank God.
06/19/2014 - Case updated online with text and email saying new card mailed.....

06/21/2014-Condtional GC received along with welcome letter.

Hi. I'd like to be added to the July spreadsheet. I've been reading and posting in the June 2013 filers, as I filed on June 27th. However, my Priority Date is July 1, 2013. I've not been transferred yet. The only "special" thing about my case is that it is probably one of the first stand-alone I-130s from a same sex couple. I filed for my spouse the day after Section 3 of DOMA was repealed.

Well if I keep sitting home, I will keep sitting on computer and refreshing USCIS site every 1 min....so I need to go out and go occupy my mind before I go crazy. I've noticed CSC becomes more active in evening anyways so I need to do better with my time than sit and refresh ever well 30 seconds..

my guess is they batch up notifications to send groups of them at a time... but that's just my guess :)

All these approvals and transfers are great but also kind depressing! My pd is July 1! So much for going in order, but then again this is USCIS what did I expect!?! Oh well! Congrats to the approvals! :)

I don't know if I should get excited that they are transferring/approving July petitions or not!

my PD is July 17, and I have no clue what's going on right now!

There is no sense at all!

May be USCIS is using an algorithm for picking up petitions numbers, kinda like a lottery thing!

Makes me wonder though what the heck is happening with our file since they transferred it from Vermont to Nebraska on Sept 12...ours appears to have got lumped in with a bunch of LPR I-130 pétitions that were transferred back in August/September and I bet they just cast ours on the side while rushing to process the others :(
