Congrats hope you get your case number very soon. I just got a letter from my senator that said they heard back from uscis and my case should be decided in the next 30 days. Hope it's real this time.

OK, so we received the I-797, Notice of Action, and it's saying I'm in the US and to apply for AOS. I'm not in the US so it's saying to file I-824 and pay $405 for the pleasure of their mistake. Anyone else experienced this? What was the outcome if so?

Technically I'm still here too...

I had put in a service request but they responded that it was still under review. I guess they decided to defer the adjudication of the I-130 as my AOS interview is next month.

For everyone going through consular processing, my heart seriously goes out to you because it's just absolutely ridiculous that some people up to a year and more in the queue are still waiting for their approval :ranting:

06/26/2014: (118) Received e-mail/text notification of green card approval and that card was also mailed. Received USPS tracking number at 6:45 p.m. EST.

06/27/2014: (119) Received green card in the mailbox.

Yeah it's just a lie to make us feel better but I already have my senator involved so atleast he can help me push this issue as well.

Thank you and your right. They are processing months passed July but for some reason we still have to wait. It makes no sense.

Just received 2 back to back emails from USCIS, one stating the alien number has changed, another stating the address has been changed........... Here is the kicker, I didn't change the mailing address

They send so many messages that don't make any sense it really makes one wonder if they have a clue how their system works. Anyway on the bright side they actually "touched" your case. If your worried about the address change just give them a call and ask about it. Hope this means your finally getting approved. I pray I'm next
