Approved!! dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif

Next step is for USCIS to ship the approved petition to NVC and then NVC to receive it.

After that, is the long as hell 6 weeks wait for a case number from NVC.

But anyway, at least you are through USCIS

how did you know when it was shipped and received.

I was approved on 26-Feb. USCIS updated my status on 27-Feb to say that they shipped the approved petition to NVC.

I started calling NVC on 05-Mar. I called them yesterday also and was told they did not receive it. So I called USCIS and spoke to a tier 2 who told me that I-130 was shipped out on 04-Mar and I-129F was shipped out 06-Mar.

I called NVC this morning and they confirmed they received I-130 yesterday but they still did not get I-129F.

So, basically USCIS updates are misleading for the shipped out dates.

No updates at this stage. Checking my email every hour but nothing yet. NBC would've clocked off for the day now so waiting until tomorrow for an update.

With the service requests, should I have received a confirmation email that the service request has been received?

You won't receive an email that a service request has been initiated, but you will get an email when they respond to it.

Congratulations on all the approvals. I'm still fighting with TSC in trying to get a logical response to an email I received yesterday.

Even though it's been 72 days now since TSC received my RFE package, they have not yet responded. 1st service request said its under "security check". The last service request got them to send any email yesterday saying they need another 30 days to do "additional reviews". I have no idea what that means.

Meanwhile last week I reconnected with my Congressmans office and they told me they were told my file is being sent to CSC. Huh!!?? When I called USCIS and spoke to a level 2 agents supervisor (I don't even deal with the agents anymore because they're idiots as well) she said she didn't see my case being moved to CSC.

Seems like every person I speak with, I get a different answer. It's like the blind leading the blind.

I have the acting directors email address. I think people whom are having difficulties like me should send her an email to tell her directly of peoples experience with her dept.

I filed a complaint form with both of my Senators last week and today I'll be filing a complaint form with the USCIS Ombudsman. This is getting ridiculous.

Thank you!!

thanks dwipal.

I posted this on the NVC thread and its super active and thus its hard to find mumbai person. So let me ask my question here-

I am very shortly going to visit India and I was curious with regards to the medical exam. Can I get it done or do I have to wait until my wife is assigned an interview date? What is it that Rele clinic in Gamdeve need? I am working on getting her PCC and other documents while I briefly visit her. I know I am thinking too much ahead right now, but do you have any idea?

I apologize folks, I understand this is not the thread to discuss the NVC process for those anxiously waiting for their noa2's. I wish you ALL good luck.
