I got a letter today from USCIS as a response to a service request stating that my petitions are with an officer and that they can't tell me when a decision will be made.

I got a similar one 11 days ago stating the same thing.

They must take their sweet time adjudicating petitions in Nebraska BS Center

I'm still waiting, also, and have a July 11 NOA1. I'm on hold right now, on the telephone, with USCIS level 2. Level 1 said, Nebraska SC is still working on April 13, so they still have three more months of petitions before they get to ours. When I said that over half of July filers in our online community have reported NOA2's, his response was...... nothing.

Visited USCIS field office several weeks ago. Our dialogue, verbatim, was...

USCIS rep: You come here often.

Me: We've been waiting 7 months.

USCIS rep: That's normal.

Me: 'Normal' keeps changing.

USCIS rep: Wait here.

[uSCIS rep returns]

USCIS rep: Your petition has been transferred to the NSC.

Me: I know.

USCIS rep: You have to wait. It should be just a few more weeks.

[i leave]

Just got off the phone with Tier 2. No further information, but she did say that NSC is now working on May 20 petitions. Gosh, while I was waiting for one hour to speak to them, they finished one whole month of petitions (see above). So, by that rate of speed, I should get my NOA2 in two hours.... I won't be holding my breath.

She did say that we will have to wait two more months at NSC. I was a bit testy with her, and she had nothing more to add.

They can say whatever they want to say.

We have real data in VJ and we follow lots of cases. The petitions being processed in Nebraska BS Center currently were transferred in December up to 23rd so far.

I hope they get to the rest of December and then start January as soon as possible.

I'm a January 2nd transfer

Someone pointed out to me earlier in another thread, that you should start counting 60 days after the received date by the service center. This can be found on the online profile, under the last updated date.

So if you were transferred on january 2nd, when did nebraska receive it? I guess by 01-07 correct?

Do u know if that person who was approved was in any way an expatiated beneficiary?

This is what I got today from NBSC as a response to a service request:

"Thank you for your recent inquiry about your I-129F petition.

USCIS records show that this case was received by the National Benefits Center (NBC) on July 26, 2013. The case was then transferred to the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) on January 6, 2014.

At this time the case is assigned to an officer. Although assigned, we cannot predict the date the case may actually receive review.

If you have not received a decision or other notice of action on this case within 60 days from the date of this email, please contact us for an update."

I've been getting this "assigned to an officer" BS for almost two weeks now. God only knows when "the officer" will get to my petitions!!!!!!!!!!!!!
