This wait is killing me. I'm starting to think CSC lost my file sad.png I'm just glad I finally get to go see my husband for our anniversary. I can't believe it's almost a whole year already.

Am I right in presuming that you're in PDX? So are my wife & kids. I was transferred to CSC January 8 and still waiting for approval - I'm beginning to wonder whether us having beneficiaries in PDX is anything to do with the delay...

Here's hoping all the laggers get kicked onto NVC soon!

I just got an email as a response to an inquiry completely contradicting and negating the last email I received:

The 2nd to last email said my case has been assigned to an officer and that now it depends on the officer work load.

The last email said that my case is still pending consideration:

"Referral ID:
SRXXXXXXXXXXXMSC
Beneficiary (if you filed for someone else):
-- Information not available

Your USCIS Account Number (A-number):
-- Information not available

Type of service requested:
-- Outside Normal Processing Times

The status of this service request is:

Recently, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time and to request an update on its status. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your petition is still pending consideration. USCIS records show that your case was recently relocated for processing. Transferred cases will be worked within 60 days from transfer notice issuance.

What You Can Do
Please see the "Online Services" below to check the status of your case in the near future. We apologize for the delay.

We hope this information is helpful to you."

Total BS.

I'm waiting for a call back from a tier 2 as of now.

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

So, the conversation of the tier 2 was bad at all this time.

The guy was very courtious and sounded genuine.

The resulst is still the same, a big nothing, but it was not coupled with the nastiness of some tier 2s.

Basically, in the beginning he tried to explain to me that my petition was transferred to Nebraska and that's a good thing since NBC is backlogged. But when I faced him with the current loads at Nebraska, California and Texas (as of November 30) he was nice enough to just acknowledge that and not try to bullshi% me with any stupid answer.

Then he moved on to expalin that both emails do not contradict each other (assigned to an officer / pending consideration). He said it is a continuation since "the officer" did not get to my petition yet.

He then offered to put in "another" service request, but warned me that actually service requests get assigned to an officer and that they have to pull the petition, look at it and then respond to the SR and that process delays the petition.

I told him to go ahead and put in an SR anyway since my petition is already delayed no matter waht.

The guy showed a lot of sympathy and mentioned that he had to deal with the waiting with USCIS first hand at some time during his life (you can tell he is an immigrant from his accent).

Anyway, he was very nice and very understanding, but that did not change the outcome: NOTHING AT ALL

It is nice when you get a human Tier 2, to be fair I only have spoken to one once, a lovely lady who gave me the truth.... However, I was very calm and respectful to her, i bet she gets shouted at all day...... What grins my gears is when you get one that, even though you have been very respectful to, still sounds like the are rude and cannot be arsed!

To be fair, its not the tier 2's fault, its the management, they are probably as pissed off as us about it, however they are the face, the front line...

Its like immigration officials at POE, how many times have you met a happy one????? you should see them at the UK border, jobsworth ###*&^es who must be trained NOT to smile at you....

We put in an SR as we are outside of processing times but still within the 60 days since transfer to CSC. Has anyone seen any positive outcomes from raising an SR? Worried that we are "put on hold" until someone checks the SR then they say "it's not been 60 days, get to the end of the line"

It's really disheartening to see so many people who filed after us getting approved before us. Obviously I'm happy for everyone who has been approved but from a personal level I feel like the case has been lost in a pile in some closet or something.

Hello everyone! I have a question :currently I've been married for 1 yr and 2 months, I130 just approved Feb10. I would like to know what is the requirement for the time of the interview my husband can obtain permanent residence for 10 years. I know we must have 2 years of marriage. But I know of some cases that have not meet that requirement yet and at the interview the CO change status to IR-1.

I have not heard of people getting an IR-1 with under 2 years of marriage. Where did you hear of this? I must say that I'd be doubtful of it occurring unless maybe the couple is less than a month away or something.

August filers getting approved and on a roll. Including a transfer to CSC on Feb 11 that was approved in less than a week...

It's my wife's birthday today. Another family date, along with both my kids' birthdays and Christmas, that I'm not there for. Yeah, I'm having a moan, but really, F this S....

I feel you on that. Our first wedding anniversary is on march 21st and instead of him being here like we thought, I am going to have to go visit to celebrate. I really hope this stress is over soon.
