I just got a letter from USCIS today. An answer for a service request to Nebraska BS center.

it says the following:

"The status of this service request is: Recently, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Service records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received.

We hope this information is helpful to you."

Basically NOTHING. JUST WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT

Unreal. "In line to be reviewed' . They have to wake up soon, and work work work because now there is like OverlandPark 2?

I cant understand their logic.

Wish u Good Luck and approval next week, to you and to all waiting that long:(

The service centers are known to occasionally work over the weekends.

This is the stuff we SHOULD encourage :D !!

Exactly, i wonder why they work "sometimes"? they should work ALWAYS until the backlog is sorted!

Well technically, there ought to be

i) more adjudicators with more intake

ii) more weekend work

They could do this for 3 months and I guarantee you the backlog will disappear by May.

Although, I doubt anybody would entertain a solution that requires spending money to fix problems (overtime work etc).

But as WE PAY FOR IT, it is not a FREE service, then surely they should charge enough to cover themselves if this was needed...... its called management

You are expecting this from a professor from Chicago who messed up the release of a government website.
