It's really unusual for someone at USCIS to tell you what date they're actually processing - instead of toeing the company line and giving us the date that's on the USCIS website (and is 2 months out of date) - Can it be that maybe we might start getting some *gasp* shocked.gif transparency at USCIS when we ask for information!

hey etrangals, bro.. on one of your post yesterday you mentioned that tier 2 officer told you that they are currently working on m-a-y filers at nebraska.

why is it then that uscis website says march 20 2013? Does this mean that they are off by 2 months?

thanks for keeping us posted.

The stats on the website www.uscis.gov are accurate as of November 30 2013.

So I'm pretty sure the tier 2 knew what she was talking about. I made sure she said May

And she confirmed it was the fifth month of the year

I agree that it was unusual. That is why I mentioned three times May and I even spelled it out M A Y and she said yes the fifth month of the year

My is about right, If they were at March in November, then they should be at May now. It seems CSC is at July!

I've also been a silent follower, and my petition is also collecting dust in the Nebraska service center and it's really very disappointing. I was unable to edit the spreadsheet, but my details are as follows:

July 17th 2013 - Petition received by USCIS

Jan 3rd 2014 - Case transferred to Nebraska Service Center

Yes, there was a surge of July approvals especially at the CSC. I was hoping to have been one of them but it got awfully quiet here the last few days. I'm afraid of the CSC turning into another black hole for petitions.

Its all about their statistics, you will see fast approvals, then slow, then fast etc just when they need to keep the "average time" down
