Thats exactly what I thought regarding the random transfers.

We both have the same transfer date (3rd Jan), but we were routed to 2 different service centers and will complete 3 weeks.

I am at Nebraska and you are at Cali.

Hope we get our approvals soon.

3 Jan too but transfered to Texas, no word yet.

Hope we get our approvals soon.

I wish we were at California! Unfortunately we are at Nebraska too. I was hoping we would be one of the few who seem to get through quickly but no such luck. Slowly getting closer to March 3rd and it seems like most people get their approvals from NSC the week before they hit 60 days.

This morning, my husband got a phone call from Texas (area code 713), but he could not answer it.

Same day, they called his house in America and asked if he was there but did not mention who they were.

It could be someone eles, but I was wondring if it was from TSC since our case was transferred there.

Did anyone have the same experience?

meehan, are you sure about getting approval from nebraska before the 60 day period after transfer? Here is why I have to disagree. Read this thread titled, i-130 transferred to nebraska service center and most people on there required on an average 2.5- 3 months after the transfer.

Sad but we just gotta live with it.

Be careful as you don't want to be a victim of identity theft. USCIS says clearly on the website, if a scammer calls you just say "No thank you and hang up". But again we don't know who it was who called you.

My PD is June 27 but the notice date is July 1st. I am hoping this process will be over soon for everyone!

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

I just checked and our both applications for IR-5 got transferred today smile.png. The message on USCIS site says 'transferred to local office'.

Our PD date: July 29th.

Now new journey starts for approval of i130 and for NOA2.

Be sure to check the forum listings for the heading 'bringing family members...' of either US citizens or PR's. You may find more relevant information on Immigration for your parents, as this section focuses on spouses.
