First question a "FIle Number A" is that the same thing as the "Alien Registration Number"?

Second i have the "Alien Registration Number" since I had a Green Card before i became a US Citizen.

Base on this guide (http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1 this is updated right?) my wife needs to sign the G-325a aswell but she doesn't have an "Alien Registration Number" so should she put N/A on that or what (also for the File Number if there the same?)? My wife was born in a different country and never been in the US.

I actually called the Customer Service on the paper but they said they can't help me answer that...so not sure why do even though i've said my situation...

Yes, "File Number A" is the same as your Alien Registration Number. You should enter that number on your G-325A.

Since your wife would not have an A-number, "none" should be entered in this field on her form.

This is the USCIS website http://www.uscis.gov There, as well as Visa Journey of course, cool.png you will find a lot of information.

You can also take a look at this video. I think you will find it very helpful.

Remember to take your time when filling out forms, never leave anything blank and always sign them.

All the best! ~~~

Thanks so much, i was actually thinking of asking an atorney or something along that line... but will see i really want her with me as soon as possible :). And thanks for the video i was going to look at youtube for any tutorial. So that guide is good? Becuase i did run through it and i guess some of the paper works have a different name now but still the same...

Like the OF ones are DS now right?

Pre-Interview Forms / Items:

1. Completed and signed OF-169. 2. Completed and signed Of-230 Part 1 and 2 forms.

If you have an Alien number you should put it in your G-325a and if you wife does not have an alien number then you would put none (you may have to write it in) in this spot for the A file number (alien number.)

Yes, that vid is informative.

I'm sorry, but I've never heard of OF forms. I guess it's possible that they were "replaced" or renamed.
