You can get it done in the DR for 700 pesos per page. Rualina Manzano is in the capital and who we have used to have documents translated for us. Sorry can't find his number.

Well I used Language Oasis to translate my fiance's birth certificate. I though I needed it for the I-129F, but turns out I don't need it till later. They are $27 flat per page, or .10cents per word. I got it translated within 24 hours. Sent email copy then mailed hard copy in regular mail.

It was the $27 flat rate per page...you only pay per word if it's dense and then it ends up costing more than the $27. The police certificate is one page, only about 100 words. smile.png

you did not need to translate this document . Its going to DR they can read the police report . Plus before your CITA you have to get an updated police report anyways all over again .

Hi, We just received the package 3 from the Consulate in Naples, so I need to translate the two police certificates and the birth certificate from Italian to English. Can anyone suggest the easiest and cheapest way to get a translation certified by a competent traslator and sworn to before a Notary Public ? I saw on the Consulate website a list of translators, in addition to the translation fee (per page or word) they talk about 45 Euro per page for the certification. Does anyone have more information about that? I live in Naples, any suggestion for a translator in this area would be really helpfull!

That's easy. A Human that owes you a big favor, is bilingual, and can follow the USCIS instructions about writing up a translators statement.
