What a journey it has been, we started this process back in july of 2012 and our k1 visa interview in Rio was approved. I really could not have got to where I am today without this website and people to guide me. Trust in god and fate will reward you with the most ultimate gift of all, love. Some advice for people going to RIO. Get there early our apointment was at 715, we got in line at 6am. We were third in line and it quickly grew as time went on. We got brought into this room with about 30 chairs in there and sat. About 20 mins later this guy who worked there called each number in order that you arrived there to make sure you have all your papers in order. Then we waited another 20 mins and got called up to give all the paperwork to the guy behind he glass. Then about another 20 mins we got called for the actually interview. Now I did go to the interview with her because i heard it helps alot. IT HELPS ALOT!haha... She was a very nice lady, she basically took our information and did not even ask us many questions. All she asked was for us to tell her about our relationship! This lasted about 5min and she smiled and said congrats! She did not bother to look at any of our evidence or original I129-f package. Amazing how one year of stress and waiting came down to a 5 min pretty much a joke interview! In conclusion try to relax, if you have a legit relationship you will be fine! My honest thoughts are if you get approved from USCIS you pretty much have smooth sailing. Thanks again for everyones help and god bless!
