Timeline

Hi... we got married last month and we have send the documents (G-325A, I-131, I-485, I-765 along with all our proofs of marriage) to USCIS on 28-July-2013 by mail for my adjustment process. . Till now I havnt received any NOA... Could anybody pls tell me how long it takes? Regards.

give it two weeks, but remember the 4th of July was a holiday, so that might have been the hold up! u said July 28, make correction! so the time frame is still good! give it by Monday and you should get an email or something

I mailed mine the same day n I got a message in my e-mail on Tuesday but am yet to get one in d mailbox though. So I guess u should hear something soon.

AOS from K-1 cases have 50% chance to get an interview. If they do, the whole process is usually fast and it can be all done in 3 months.

If your case is chosen to be waived from an interview, the process may take up to a year.

You can't really know if you will have an interview or no, so you will have to wait and see. :)

Exactly!

My husband just got his green card in the mail today. We waited over 10 1/2 months for it but we were approved without an interview. If you are lucky enough to get an interview then September or October might be realistic - if not it could easily next spring before you hear anything.

So, I should pray now to get interview. But which cases they waive interview? Any Idea?

If I receive EAD and AP, then how does it matter if I receive GC late? I just dont know this. So, anyone please can help me to understand this?
