That's where I would put my money for a verdict.

I am betting on acquittal or a charge lesser than that

If I was on that jury I'd definitely go with manslaughter. That's easy.

It's not clear yet that manslaughter is going to be an option. The defense is understandably shooting for an all-or-nothing instruction to the jury. They want the jury to be told that they must acquit if they cannot agree on a murder 2 conviction. We'll see how the judge rules on that. They're still lawyering around...

The decision on the instructions that will be given to the panel of six woman jurors was announced by Seminole County Circuit Judge Debra Nelson, as lawyers for the defense and prosecution argued in a hearing closed to the jury about the instruction they will be given in the closely-watched case.

Oh, okay. So they did resolve that already.

So then I agree with the take that he'll be found guilty of manslaughter.
