sorry, I meant I've been searching about the "what is the priority date" and I found posts from previous applicants asking the same thing, some posts were 2 years old and the ustraveldocs site didn't make any effort to say that the priority date and received date are the same.

  • The "priority date" is the "notice date" on your NOA1 or the "receipt date" on your NOA2

The Priority Date is the RECEIVED DATE on the NOA 1, not the notice date of the NOA1 nor the receipt date of the NOA2.

I got this information directly from NVC.

The NVC has our PRIORITY DATE the same as the RECEIVED DATE on the I-797C (NOA1). Considering the NVC provided us the Case Number and forwarded the info to Manila, that is what we used to make the Interview appointment.

03-03-2013 I-129F Packet Delivery
03-04-2013 NOA1 (text/email)

I seriously doubt USEM will care, but those are not the Priority Date. Means nothing that they are the same date. Go by what NVC states is priority date then there is no issue.

then if USEM doesn't care, then there is no issue if we use the notice date on our NOA1 or the receipt date on our NOA2 which has the same date

the received date on NOA1 and the Notice date on NOA1 that is the same on NOA2's receipt date are all "valid"

no matter what date we will use, they will still be able to find our case because we have the mnl case number...

So you are saying just PFA a number, or PFA an answer to a question... who cares if its the correct answer to assist a person or not....

Why defend giving incorrect 'BAD" information ? That I don't understand.

who also cares if that's the date we want to use?

i'm not defending myself on giving an info that you think is wrong. what i am just saying is, that's what we want to use..

i am not pushing my answer to people to use it if they think it is wrong.

i just simply said

we will still use the notice date on our NOA1 or the receipt date on our NOA2... both has the same date..

we will let u know if this will cause us a problem at our interview

the "WE" that i am referring are Robb&Ann..

Sometimes you need to slowdown with the words you are using, or i might think that you are ...... nevermind...

If one thinks that they put the wrong priority date because of my info, they can always update their info online even after setting up an appointment.

the date does not even show on the appointment confirmation nor on any DS forms. so no big deal at all!
