What is the PRIORITY DATE ??

I am scheduling a k visa interview, what is the PRIOTY DATE? Is it the APROVED DATE that stamped in the I-129F?

This ds-156 and scheduling the interview are taking us too long... they never tell you where to find.

From my list:

Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 1 was received. You will not find the priority date entered on the NOA2, you will only find it on the email/letter

from NVC when you get your MNL #, or the NOA1 itself.

From the letter I received it doesn't state NOA1, only the case #, no received date or something...

but there is a "Date: 29 May 2013" written on the top right of the letter.

your noa1 is a form 797

priority date and received date are the same

I am reading my noa1 from my 129 and see it there... it is from august 2012, so the forms could have changed

so frustrating that the priority date box is blank then when scheduling the interview they don't tell you that the priority date and received date are the same. But when creating your account to schedule the interview, it says on the USERNAME field to use an email address.

Yup there are for sure flaws in their system. Just keep plugging along and do as they request.... soon it will be DONE!!

another confusion is, The DS FORMS states NON IMMIGRANT, when scheduling the interview the K category is under IMMIGRANT.
