My fiance received a letter from the embassy stating that our petition is being returned to USCIS for further review.

This is a rejection right? The letter does not explicitly state so, but I assume that is the case. The Visa status website still states in "AP".

This is 4 months after her interview.

Hi, I got e-mail IN March 2013 from embassy that my case will send back to Nvc for further review and after that my case was on AP till 25 June and then embassy informed me that my case sent back to Nvc. my case took six months to send to Nvc and still waiting any news to come from NVC that they have received my case or not.

Thanks for replying, but don't quite understand. Can you clarify?

You are already married with a spouse, right?

In March, you were informed that they were returning it to NVC and then in June again they told you that it was bring returned to NVC?

From March to July is 4 months, not 6 months.

Did you contact NVC directly?
